Mr. Trousdale graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1984 and earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Alabama in 1988. He was awarded the Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1991 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1991. He is also a member of the United States District Court for both the Northern District and Middle District of Alabama. He serves as the Court Referee for the 11th Judicial Circuit and is the Prosecutor for the City of Florence Municipal Court. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the past President of the Lauderdale County Bar Association, past President of the University of North Alabama National Alumni Association, Past Chairman of the General Board of First Christian Church, past member of the North Florence Kiwanis Club and past volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

Britney is a Shoals native, living most of her life here in Florence. Prior to working at the firm, she was a reinstatement officer with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency for over 7 years. She worked closely with court systems across the State, multiple attorneys, other law enforcement agencies, and thousands of Alabama residents. She held a leadership role as one of three Review Officers in the license division for the last 3 years she was there. Britney is known for her dedication to her role, and being a new part of the firm is no exception. She looks forward to being proactive and efficient, ensuring everyone gets the attention to detail that is deserved. Her heart is to serve and she’s eager to help you! Outside of work, Britney spends time with her boys and loves to cook.
